In October of 1996 I presented on "the next five years of the World Wide Web" (the net, really), and the implications for clinical practice. In 2003 I discovered the original presentation files were corrupted, but I was able to recreate them from PowerPoint. The originals were designed to display quickly over dial-up, so they're quite plain.
Looking back from 2003, I was a lousy prognosticator about technology. None of my "sure thing" technical predictions came true. On the other hand, I was spot on about privacy and security issues.
A PDF version has the whole presentation as a handout and will work across most platforms; here's the "web version" of the PowerPoint. Mode -- it's somewhat IE specific.
