Palm III/V: Special Purpose Computing

size: shirt pocket (Vx) battery:  weeks cost *: < $50 (est. manufacturer) peripheral, not PC (but) built-in database, OS roots	slow! minimalist display weak networking not a Newton (sigh)

* I suspect with mass production the manufacturing costs could drop well below $20.00. Eventually something like the Palm III will be available for three cereal box tops and shipping costs -- the first "cereal" computer.
